The Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association ("VAMMHA," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our members, website visitors, and event participants. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through our website (www.vammha.org), our association management platform hosted by Novi AMS ("Platform"), and any related communications and services.
By using our website or Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use our services.

A. Information You Provide
We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you:
- Apply for or renew membership
- Register for events, conferences, or training programs
- Make a payment for dues, event fees, or other services

The types of personal information collected may include: full name, job title, company or organization name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, payment card information (processed securely by our payment processor), and professional credentials or license information where applicable.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited and time spent, and cookie identifiers. This information is used to analyze site traffic, improve user experience, and administer the Platform.

4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
A. Service Providers
We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including Novi AMS (association management platform), payment processors, email marketing platforms, and event management tools. These providers are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to VAMMHA and to protect it appropriately.
B. Member Directory
If you are a VAMMHA member, your name, company, and professional contact information may be included in a member directory accessible to other VAMMHA members. You may contact us to request limitations on your directory listing.
C. Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government regulation, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
D. Organizational Transfers
In the event of a merger, dissolution, or transfer of substantially all of VAMMHA's assets or operations, member information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy commitments described herein.
5. Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA)
VAMMHA acknowledges the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (Va. Code § 59.1-571 et seq.), effective January 1, 2023. To the extent VAMMHA processes personal data subject to the CDPA, Virginia residents may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about them
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of personal data, subject to applicable exceptions
- Opt out of certain processing activities
To submit a request under the CDPA, please contact us at info@vammha.org. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by law. Note that many exemptions may apply, including for data processed in connection with employment or professional membership relationships.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our association management platform (Novi AMS) maintains industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention of Information
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to maintain membership records, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Financial and transactional records are retained as required by Virginia and federal law.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including those of industry partners, government agencies, and affiliated associations. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
9. Children's Privacy

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VAMMHA website (www.vammha.org), the association management platform hosted by Novi AMS, and all content, features, and services offered therein (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association, a Virginia nonprofit corporation.
2. Use of the Site
A. Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful purposes related to your membership in VAMMHA, your professional activities in the manufactured and modular housing industry, participation in VAMMHA events, and access to industry resources and advocacy information.
B. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any manner that violates applicable federal, Virginia, or local law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, member accounts, or VAMMHA's systems
- Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications, spam, or malicious code
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Site without written permission
- Reproduce, distribute, or republish VAMMHA content without prior written authorization
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with VAMMHA
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site or the Novi AMS platform
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, legislative summaries, advocacy materials, educational content, member directories, and software, is the property of VAMMHA or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view Site content for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with your membership or professional activities. No content may be reproduced, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without VAMMHA's prior written consent.
"VAMMHA" and the VAMMHA logo are trademarks of the Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
4. Member Account
To access certain features of the Site and Platform, you must create a member account through the Novi AMS platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify VAMMHA promptly at info@vammha.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
VAMMHA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Membership Terms and Conditions, or applicable law.
5. Third-Party Platform (Novi AMS)
VAMMHA's association management services, including member applications, event registration, dues payment, and directory access, are provided through Novi AMS, a third-party platform. Your use of the Novi AMS platform is also subject to Novi AMS's own terms of service and privacy policy, available at www.noviams.com. VAMMHA is not responsible for the independent practices of Novi AMS beyond those governed by VAMMHA's data processing agreement with that provider.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VAMMHA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. VAMMHA MAKES NO WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING LEGISLATIVE SUMMARIES, REGULATORY UPDATES, OR INDUSTRY INFORMATION.
Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or professional advice. Users should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to their circumstances.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY VIRGINIA LAW, VAMMHA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
VAMMHA's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the amount of dues you paid to VAMMHA in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Richmond, Virginia.
9. Changes to These Terms
VAMMHA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Site with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Membership Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: June 23, 2026
1. Overview
These Membership Terms and Conditions ("Membership Terms") govern membership in the Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association ("VAMMHA"), a Virginia nonprofit corporation representing the manufactured and modular housing industry in the Commonwealth of Virginia. By submitting a membership application or renewing your membership, you agree to be bound by these Membership Terms, as well as VAMMHA's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
2. Membership Categories
VAMMHA offers membership to companies, organizations, and individuals active in or supportive of the manufactured and modular housing industry in Virginia. Membership categories, eligibility criteria, and associated dues schedules are established by the VAMMHA Board of Directors and published on the Site. VAMMHA reserves the right to modify membership categories and dues with reasonable notice to existing members.
3. Application and Approval
Membership in VAMMHA is not automatic. All applications are subject to review and approval by VAMMHA staff or the Board of Directors. VAMMHA reserves the right to accept or decline any membership application at its sole discretion, consistent with its bylaws and non-discrimination policies. Applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial in a timely manner.
4. Dues and Payment
A. Annual Dues
Membership dues are assessed on an annual basis. The applicable dues amount for your membership category is displayed during the application and renewal process on the Novi AMS platform. Dues are non-transferable.
B. Payment Methods
Dues and other fees may be paid online through the VAMMHA Platform via accepted payment methods (credit card, ACH, or such other methods as VAMMHA may make available). Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; VAMMHA does not store payment card data.
C. Renewal
Memberships are renewed annually. VAMMHA will send renewal notices to the email address on file prior to your membership expiration date. It is the member's responsibility to ensure their contact information is current in the Platform. Failure to renew by the expiration date may result in lapse of membership and loss of member benefits.
D. Refund Policy
Annual membership dues are generally non-refundable once paid. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., duplicate payment or administrative error), refund requests may be submitted to info@vammha.org within 30 days of payment for review at VAMMHA's discretion.
5. Member Benefits
Active members in good standing are entitled to the benefits associated with their membership category, which may include:
- Access to the VAMMHA member portal and online directory
- Discounted registration rates for VAMMHA events, conferences, and educational programs
- Receipt of VAMMHA newsletters, legislative updates, and industry communications
- Participation in VAMMHA committees and working groups
- Use of VAMMHA member designation in professional materials, subject to applicable guidelines
- Advocacy representation before the Virginia General Assembly and state agencies on issues affecting the manufactured and modular housing industry
Benefits are subject to change by the VAMMHA Board of Directors. Members will be notified of material changes.
6. Member Responsibilities
As a VAMMHA member, you agree to:
- Maintain accurate and current contact and company information in the Platform
- Pay dues and fees in a timely manner
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner consistent with the reputation of VAMMHA and the manufactured and modular housing industry
- Comply with all VAMMHA bylaws, policies, and codes of conduct, as amended from time to time
- Refrain from using VAMMHA membership, logo, or name in any manner that is misleading, disparaging, or inconsistent with VAMMHA's mission
7. Code of Conduct
VAMMHA is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members, volunteers, and staff. Members are expected to treat fellow members, VAMMHA employees, and the public with courtesy and professionalism in all VAMMHA-related activities, including events, online communications, and committee work.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or conduct that is disruptive, dishonest, or harmful to VAMMHA or its members will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.
8. Termination or Suspension of Membership
A. Voluntary Resignation
A member may resign from VAMMHA at any time by providing written notice to info@vammha.org. Dues already paid are non-refundable upon voluntary resignation.
B. Non-Payment
Membership will lapse automatically upon failure to pay dues by the expiration date, following VAMMHA's standard renewal notice process. Lapsed members may reapply for membership.
C. Involuntary Termination
VAMMHA reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, with or without prior notice, for cause, including but not limited to: material violation of these Membership Terms or VAMMHA bylaws; conduct detrimental to VAMMHA or the manufactured housing industry; fraudulent misrepresentation on a membership application; or violation of applicable law. A terminated member may appeal to the VAMMHA Board of Directors within 30 days of notice of termination. The Board's decision shall be final.
9. Event Registration and Cancellation
Registration for VAMMHA events is governed by the event-specific terms displayed at the time of registration. General policies include:
- Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the event date are eligible for a refund, less any applicable processing fee
- Cancellations received 14 days or fewer prior to the event are generally non-refundable, but substitutions (another individual attending in the registrant's place) are permitted with advance notice to VAMMHA
- VAMMHA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to insufficient enrollment, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control; in such cases, registered attendees will receive a full refund
10. Limitation of VAMMHA Liability
VAMMHA is a nonprofit membership association. Its liability to any member arising from or related to membership, events, or services shall be limited to the amount of dues paid by that member in the current membership year. VAMMHA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from membership or use of VAMMHA services.
11. Amendments
VAMMHA reserves the right to amend these Membership Terms at any time upon reasonable notice to members. Continued membership following the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material amendments will be communicated by email and posted on the VAMMHA website.
12. Governing Law
These Membership Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts in Richmond, Virginia.
