Develop programs and a budget to support those programs that will educate and stimulate the public in matters concerning housing, and specifically manufactured housing. Promote manufactured housing to the public throughout the Commonwealth, stressing the benefits of safe, affordable manufactured homes. Report all activities at the quarterly Board Meetings and the Annual Meeting. |

Develop programs that will assist all facets of the industry and promote the spirit of cooperation between retailers, manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions, insurance companies and developers. Report on all activities at quarterly Board Meetings and the Annual Meeting. |

Help develop and institute a legislative agenda that promotes manufactured housing in Virginia. Assist legislators, regulators and local governments in understanding this industry with the goal of having manufactured housing seen as a legitimate alternative to site-built housing. Oversee VAMMHA-PAC and assist staff in collecting contributions to VAMMHA-PAC and making political donations to candidates that want to help with the objectives of the Legislative committee. Report on all activities at quarterly Board Meetings and the Annual Meeting. |

| Zoning & Legal |
Working with VAMMHA’s attorneys, monitor and/or instigate legal and zoning issues throughout Virginia. Suggest and determine which issues are state-wide issues that the Board needs to be aware of and act upon. Report all activities at quarterly Board Meetings and the Annual Meeting. |

Prepare a slate of officers to be presented to the Board of Directors at the meeting immediately following the Annual Meeting. |

Select convention sites and agendas for the Annual meeting of the membership. Produce a budget for that meeting and oversee the Annual meeting from conception to conclusion. Report on all activities at quarterly Board Meetings and the Annual Meeting. Also, develop a program and standards to select recipients for the “Hall of Fame,” Member of the Year, Single Lot Location of the Year, Multi-Lot Location of the Year (regional), Multi-lot of the Year (National) and Board Member of the Year. Additionally, produce and present a program at the Annual Meeting presenting those awards. |
